The concept for this rustic style color board began with the "Country Dream" canvas.  The imagery is so peaceful, quiet, and calm - that is what we wanted to evoke in the color scheme.  Sage, steel gray, and beige lay the foundation for the space, being the quieter colors, and to add contrasting elements, we suggest bold black and burnt orange. In keeping with the country feel, we also recommend using reclaimed barn wood pieces for a rustic element to bring character and texture to the space.

What a stunning and luxurious coastal style bedroom that instantly makes you want to unwind!  This California cottage was completely renovated from a chaotic maze of hallways and doors to this open concept home flooded with sunlight.  The color palette seen throughout the home was chosen to make each room feel light and airy in an effort to abolish the previously stuffy feeling.

Beadboard paneling is an old fashioned wall treatment that is often used in cottage decorating as it creates a charming cottage style decor.  It used to be installed board by board, but over time humidity and moisture buckled the boards, and caused the paint finish to crackle.  Now furniture makers and contractors recommend investing in products that are made with medium density fiberboard, MDF, for a sturdy and long-lasting decorative finish.
