Customizable. The Kiawah Island Wood Bed is a gorgeous cottage bed with a unique twist. It has classic cottage features with simple, clean lines, but enhanced with French trim panels, square posts and turned feet. This bed comes complete with headboard, footboard, slats and rails. Shown in Snow.

| Finish Options | Available in 51 standard paints and 4 standard stains, with the option of a custom color of your choice. Painted finishes can be combined to create a “rubbed finish”, bringing multiple colors into one piece. Our paint is a commercial grade, low VOC, water based acrylic lacquer. The standard finish is a solid color with a low luster matte sheen that includes 1 primer coat and 4 finish coats. Unsure of paint or stain color? No problem! Simply choose TBD (to be determined) as your color choice. We'll send you samples to help you choose the perfect color for your piece of furniture. Furniture orders can be placed into production without the final color choice. |
| Details | Bed frame side rails are set with the bottom of the side rail 8” from the floor for a standard box spring and mattress set up and 13” from the floor for a platform set up. All slats rest on a 1” high and ¾" wide lip at the bottom of the inside of the side rail. Side rail heights can be adjusted for no additional charge. Queen and King Bed frames include 4 hardwood slats 2”W x 1.125” thick and center posts which are also 2”W x 1.125” thick. Twin, Full and Daybeds include 4 hardwood slats 2”W x ¾” thick. All daybeds include a ¾” thick plywood Bunkie board in addition to the 4 hardwood slats. A ¾” Bunkie board can be ordered for any bed frame for an upcharge. Headboard and footboard heights can be adjusted. There may be an upcharge depending on the adjustment. Low profile footboards are available on all beds. The low-profile post height for a standard set up is 16” and for a platform set up it is 22” plus the finial height for bed designs with finials. Under bed trundles are large wood boxes with casters and will accommodate a standard trundle mattress. Interior trundle box dimensions: 74”L x 38”W. The Faux Drawer Front Trundle with 12.75”H drawer front is designed to be used with a platform set up. The standard Wooden Trundle can fit under a box spring and mattress set up. The interior of the trundle box is 2” off the ground. Two styles of shutter styles are available for headboards, Plantation shutters with moveable louvers and Bermuda shutters with fixed louvers. CAD drawings are available for any piece of furniture for a design fee. Each piece of custom furniture is individual bench made which allows maximum flexibility for custom sizes, configurations and finishes. Stains
We loan our wood, wicker & metal samples out free of charge; we ask that you return them so we can reuse them. Paper and fabric samples are yours to keep. Our floor cloth samples are available for a $25 deposit each, which is then refunded to you when we receive the sample(s) back. Sand Dune rug samples are available for a $50 deposit. Thank you!
