| Material | Wood: Birch, Maple solid wood and cabinet grade engineered panels, Poplar. Birch is usually most compared with Maple wood in terms of its properties. Birch has a fine and uniform texture, closed pores and no significant odor. Birch and Maple have a closed pored structure that stains and finishes to produce a beautiful and uniform finish. Birch is a favorite of woodworkers because it exhibits excellent machining properties and planes and sands to a smooth finish. Birch and Maple hold screws and nails securely and glues easily. Engineered panels are made from laminations of birch or maple veneer and are light but strong. It is among the strongest and most stable of all cabinet grade panels. | Details | Bed frame side rails are set with the bottom of the side rail 8” from the floor for a standard box spring and mattress set up and 13” from the floor for a platform set up. All slats rest on a 1” high and ¾" wide lip at the bottom of the inside of the side rail. Side rail heights can be adjusted for no additional charge. Queen and King Bed frames include 4 hardwood slats 2”W x 1.125” thick and center posts which are also 2”W x 1.125” thick. Twin, Full and Daybeds include 4 hardwood slats 2”W x ¾” thick. All daybeds include a ¾” thick plywood Bunkie board in addition to the 4 hardwood slats. A ¾” Bunkie board can be ordered for any bed frame for an upcharge. Headboard and footboard heights can be adjusted. There may be an upcharge depending on the adjustment. Low profile footboards are available on all beds. The low-profile post height for a standard set up is 16” and for a platform set up it is 22” plus the finial height for bed designs with finials. Under bed trundles are large wood boxes with casters and will accommodate a standard trundle mattress. Interior trundle box dimensions: 74”L x 38”W. The Faux Drawer Front Trundle with 12.75”H drawer front is designed to be used with a platform set up. The standard Wooden Trundle can fit under a box spring and mattress set up. We loan our wood, wicker & metal samples out free of charge; we ask that you return them so we can reuse them. Paper and fabric samples are yours to keep. Our floor cloth samples are available for a $25 deposit each, which is then refunded to you when we receive the sample(s) back. Sand Dune rug samples are available for a $50 deposit. Thank you!

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.
Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.
Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:
Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff
We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
