| Vintage Iron Bed Collection | The Vintage Iron Bed Collection offers over 50 different unique made-to-order custom iron beds including complete bed frames, HB only, low profile FB and canopy beds. Beds are available in all standard bed frame sizes and 35 unique finishes. Each bed is made of heavy gauge steel tubing, decorative iron castings, bolted angle iron side rails and industrial grade powder coated finishes. Beds can be customized to specific dimensions and configurations including different HB, FB and side rail heights. This US based workshop has been making premium hand-forged wrought iron beds for over 60 years. |

| Finishes | 36 Standard colors. Two color finish: Two different colors can be applied to different parts of the bed frame for an upcharge. Finishes consist of 2 – 4 coats of industrial grade, non-toxic powder coat, depending on the color, plus 3 coats of a water based protective clear coat. Textured and multi-colored glazes are hand applied. Custom colors are available using Sherwin Williams colors as a guide. Finish style can be similar to existing standard samples. All custom colors require a custom sample to be approved. |
| Measurements | Steel tubes vary from 1” to 2” in diameter depending on the bed frame design. Side rails: ½” x ½” angle iron connected with 2 – ⅜” bolts, ⅜” lock washers and 9/16” nuts per side on both HB and FB. The bottom of the side rails are set at 9” above the floor. The standard finish for side rails is a commercial grade grey powder coat. The side rails can be finished in the color of the HB and FB for an upcharge. HB heights, FB heights and side rail location can be changed for a custom upcharge. HB only: Comes pre-drilled with 9 holes ½” apart from 4” off the floor to 8” off the floor for attaching a metal frame. HB and frame: This assembly is designed to rigidly connect the HB to the side rails like a standard bed frame. Instead of a FB, support legs are welded to the FB end of the side rail. A cross brace is also provided to bolt on 1” from the end of the side rail to tie the two side rail ends together. The standard side rails (grey powder coat) and welded support leg can be painted the same finish color as the HB for an upcharge. Daybeds: Daybeds come standard with a spring support system, painted black and set 15” off the floor (no box spring needed). The spring support frame can be finished in the same color as the daybed frame for an upcharge. A daybed can also be supplied with a standard support system which can also be finished the same color as the frame for an upcharge. XL daybeds can only be supplied with a standard support system. Standard support systems require plywood or a bunkie board to support the mattress. Trundle: A steel frame twin size pop-up trundle painted black with a spring support system is available for all beds and daybeds. 38.25”W x 70.25”L x 5”H down/15”H up. All bed frames are available with a single canopy or a double canopy. |
We loan our wood, wicker & metal samples out free of charge; we ask that you return them so we can reuse them. Paper and fabric samples are yours to keep. Our floor cloth samples are available for a $25 deposit each, which is then refunded to you when we receive the sample(s) back. Sand Dune rug samples are available for a $50 deposit. Thank you!

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.
Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.
Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:
Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff
We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
