The Single X-Back Painted Side Chair is a small, but sturdy, dining chair that is perfect for the kitchen or a breakfast nook. Wood or off-white upholstered fabric seat. Matching stool available.
Each chair is painted to order and can match or coordinate with any of our custom dining tables. This chair is imported but finished in the US. Our US based workshops have been custom finishing our dining chairs for over 30 years.
Unsure of paint or stain color? No problem! Simply choose TBD (to be determined) as your color choice. We’ll send you samples to help you choose the perfect color for your chair. Furniture orders can be placed into production without the final color choice.

| Material | Chair & wood seat: Parawood or rubberwood Upholstered seat cover: Off-white fabric Parawood is also known as rubberwood or plantation hardwood. It is grown in Indonesia and Central America on rubber plantations. Parawood belongs to the maple family, a true hardwood. It is is a notably strong wood because of its highly dense grain. Rubberwood is also 'eco-friendly' in that the wood is harvested from a renewable source. When the latex yields of rubber trees become extremely low, the trees are then felled, and new trees are usually planted. |
| Color Options | Standard colors: 54. All of the standard colors are shown in the build your own selections. These chairs can be painted to match any of our custom dining table collections. A worn or rubbed finish as well as a premium 2 color rub finish are also available. We do not offer these chairs in a stained finish. Custom colors are available using either Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore paint colors. Please provide manufacturer, paint color number and paint name. Custom colors require an upcharge. |

We loan our wood, wicker & metal samples out free of charge; we ask that you return them so we can reuse them. Paper and fabric samples are yours to keep. Our floor cloth samples are available for a $25 deposit each, which is then refunded to you when we receive the sample(s) back. Sand Dune rug samples are available for a $50 deposit. Thank you!

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.
Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.
Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:
Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff
We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
