Cottage Style

Inspiration Board: Black, Charcoal & Olive

This black, charcoal, and olive color scheme has a modern and urban appeal that would be perfect for a living room fit for entertaining. The track arm sofa has slender arms and simple lines, while the soft olive colored fabric makes for luxurious and inviting seating. Pairing two different styled sofas in complementary fabrics creates a diverse and interesting space. The surrounding accents are key in pulling the two sofas together, and the wide striped rug is an eye catching anchor for the room. The mercury lamp adds just the right amount of glitz – a great way to introduce a new material, and the glass reflects a beautiful glow from the light.

Coastal & Beach House

Get The Look: Beach Retreat

Once you soak in the beautiful ocean view just beyond the big windows in this coastal living room, your eye is immediately drawn to the coral coffee table. What a statement it brings to this otherwise quiet and subdued color palette! Introducing the coral accent color to the overall scheme creates an undeniable focal point that brings in a whole new layer of interest to this beach-inspired living room.

Bedrooms

Rooms to Love: Rustic Chic

This elegant farmhouse bedroom features a beautiful collaboration of warm wood tones and soft linens that create an enchanting space. The combination of table lamps and overhead chandelier lighting plays an integral role in suffusing this room with a warm and romantic glow. The scrolling wrought iron bed with flowing white and beige linens is a the natural focal point, exuding a relaxing and luxurious retreat feeling to the room. The delicate features of the chandeliers and the dainty floral print in the rug give the appearance of a predominately feminine space, however, the rugged barnboard flooring and heavy scaled dresser provide the right amount of masculinity to balance the space.

Bedrooms

Color Board: Icy Silversage

Looking for cottage style bedroom ideas? These muted grey, slate, and seafoam hues create a quiet confidence that would be perfect for a cottage style bedroom or sitting area. This color palette offers layers of soft and understated fabrics for upholstery and pillows or for bed linens galore. Any combination of the selected paint colors would be perfect for the wall paint or for select painted pieces to accent the color scheme. White would also be a great paint color or drapery choice to create a crisp contrast among the sea of silversage.

To our valued customers,

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.

Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.

Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:

Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff

We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.

Thank you,

Your Cottage Home Team
