The Importance of Porches
Decorate your outside “room” just like you would any indoor living space. First, decide how you will use it. Then develop a porch decorating plan.

Fresh and bright, this beach house entryway lets you know at once that the ocean is near! Aqua and orange accents pop against the weathered white sofa table and natural driftwood mirror, setting the stage for a casual, yet sophisticated, coastal home. The side chair with pillow is the perfect place to slip off your regular shoes and exchange them for flip flops. Or better yet, go barefoot! Beach house decorating is all about creating a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere, and this coastal foyer certainly does just that. #beachhouse #coastalentryway #coastalfoyers #cottagefurniture https://www.cottagehomefurniture.com

All book lovers would jump at the opportunity to carve out a cottage style space like this that is dedicated solely to curling up with a good book. The large built-in window seat provides a creative and unique space that is large enough for the whole family to curl up with their favorite books. The natural sunlight through the window is perfect for afternoon reading, while the sconces provide the task lighting needed when your book is just too good to put down, even after the sun has set. We love the way the thick drapes frame the book nook, and can be drawn when you want a little more serenity. Pile on the plush pillows and soft quilts for added warmth, comfort, and style. #farmhousedecor #cozycorners #cottagedecor #roomstolove https://www.cottagehomefurniture.com/

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.
Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US, as are most finishes and fabrics. Selective hardware, fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.
We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
