Color Board: Cottage Colors

As the hot summer months cool down for a crisp September here in Maine, we start to crave the warmer tones of fall foliage. In today’s cottage style color board we chose warmer autumn colors, like pumpkin and marigold, but since we aren’t quite ready to let summer go, we used a couple of amazing ocean blues too. #cottagecolors #cottagedecor #farmhousecolors #farmhousedecor #fallcottagecolors

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.

Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.

Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:

Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff

We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
