Retro fabrics with the mod sensibility of the go-go era can be even more mood-altering when done in relaxing, deep ocean-borne blue and green hues. #blues #teal #mod www.cottagehomefurniture.com

Freshen up your soon-to-be-summer decor with a spritz of tangerine and a splash of teal – or any combination of your favorite spicy orange and refreshing blue-green. Picture a secluded and sun-baked citrus grove by the shimmering Mediterranean… To start up your thought process, we’ve pictured a few hues of orange above, from clementine to coral. Also – we admit that sometimes it’s hard to pick just one orange. #orange #bluegreen #coralprint https://www.cottagehomefurniture.com/

Crisp and clean, this eat-in kitchen gives off an orderly confidence without looking contrived, a magical element of the Scandinavian style. Surprising elements of the old and new, like a gorgeous white antique enameled corner fireplace and an incredibly mod pinecone lighting fixture, mesh without giving pause. The effect is energizing. #skybluekitchen #scandinavian #farmhousetable https://www.cottagehomefurniture.com/

The lull between the holidays and the first of spring can set the mind wandering to warmer climes and bright colors. In lieu of an island getaway, create an atmosphere of deep ocean waters and beachside margaritas with aqua, indigo and citrus green touches. #aquas #cottagerugs #blues #citrusgreen https://www.cottagehomefurniture.com/

The rug is the eye catching piece that really fills the space with whimsy and color. Smaller accessories, like the puff ottomans, throw pillows, and wire baskets, pick up some of the hues found in the rug including royal blue, yellow, and red. #cottagestyle #cottagecolor #cottagedecor #cottagefurniture

As the hot summer months cool down for a crisp September here in Maine, we start to crave the warmer tones of fall foliage. In today’s cottage style color board we chose warmer autumn colors, like pumpkin and marigold, but since we aren’t quite ready to let summer go, we used a couple of amazing ocean blues too. #cottagecolors #cottagedecor #farmhousecolors #farmhousedecor #fallcottagecolors

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.
Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.
Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:
Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff
We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
