Inspiration Board: Winter Blues
Here at Cottage Home we are embracing the cool blue tones of winter in this cottage style living room. The soft blue rug is such a pretty color that creates a calm and soothing ambiance for the whole space. Lifting the blue tone in the rug and using similar shades for the accessories creates a monochromatic and unified design. To add warmth to the “cool” space, we chose Old English Pine furniture pieces that are waxed in a low luster light brown tone. The natural looking finish blends in beautifully with the casual setting and still provides plenty of character and texture of the old wood.
