Here at Cottage Home we are embracing the cool blue tones of winter in this cottage style blue living room. The soft blue rug is such a pretty color that creates a calm and soothing ambiance for the whole space. Lifting the blue tone in the rug and using similar shades for the accessories creates a monochromatic and unified design. To add warmth to the “cool” space, we chose old pine furniture pieces that are waxed in a low luster light brown tone. The natural looking finish blends in beautifully with the casual setting and still provides plenty of character and texture of the old wood. Add lots of big, soft blankets to the sofa and chair for an inviting space to brave the cold of this chilly winter!

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.
Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.
Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:
Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff
We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
