This week’s cottage decorating color board boasts cheerful colors and whimsical prints that would be ideal in a cottage or coastal style home. Mixing yellow, aqua, and cast iron create a dominating palette full of life, personality and spunk. Depending on how rustic you want the space to feel, we have suggested the same three colors in two different paint finishes. The top row features our Country Classics collection paints that have a very lightly rubbed finish for a cleaner look. The bottom row features our Lake House collection paints which boast heavily distressed paint finishes that are worn away to the wood for an aged look. Or you can mix and match finishes for an eclectic style!

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.
Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.
Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:
Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff
We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
