What a glorious collection of cottage friendly fabrics and colors!  Use this cottage style decorating color board to create a living room infused with color and balance.  Any one of the solid colors would be a perfect fabric selection for the sofa, because they are dark enough to hide wear and tear, but bright enough to create a punchy impact.  Save the prints for accents like window treatments and throw pillows, so they spread small doses of color throughout the room.  As much as we love color, we like to see a mix and balance of materials.  That’s why we suggest using stained reclaimed wood pieces throughout the space for a warm and rustic feel.  The beauty of a color board is that you can mix and match where you would prefer the colors and fabrics!

What fabric would you choose for the main focal point in your living room?

To our valued customers,

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.

Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.

Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:

Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff

We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.

Thank you,

Your Cottage Home Team
