This coastal style cottage is located right up the coast in Kennebunk, Maine! The architect, designer, and home owner collaborated tirelessly to design this home that “aims to stay in the family for generations to come.”
The plush upholstery and deep set frames invite people to really curl up and get comfortable. Not to mention the abundance of throw pillows and blankets that enhance the casual and comfortable style. Being a true beach cottage, this home needs to be as practical as it is pretty! The designer chose Sunbrella fabrics for the slipcovered living room furniture, which is a perfect solution for areas that will encounter wet bathing suits, food, drinks, and direct sun. They chose a vinyl upholstery on the game table chairs for the same low maintenance solution. You want to spend your time enjoying what Maine has to offer without the constant worry that someone might spill a drink!

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.
Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.
Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:
Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff
We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.
