This 19th century New York country style farmhouse is a blend of old and new.  The wide plank pine floorboards are beautifully finished in tung oil for a natural look that provides so much warmth to the space.  The dining set is in lieu of a traditional island and really brings out the true farmhouse style of the space.  Ladderback dining chairs are a quintessential element and painting them black creates such a stunning look.  Look here for more photos of this artfully restored home!

Do you prefer an island in the kitchen, or bringing in a dining set?

To our valued customers,

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.

Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US. Selective hardware, shoreline fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.

Currently, we have two collections affected by tariffs:

Cottage Wicker Furniture Collection: 6% Tariff
Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture Collection: 3% Tariff

We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.

Thank you,

Your Cottage Home Team
