1. Five Skippers at Sea Canvas Giclee  |  2. Lake Murray Bench |  3. Gypsy Stripe Denim/Yellow Woven Cotton Rug  |  4. Kerr Coffee Table  |  5. &  6. Avon Upholstered Accent Chair

Sky and sun, bluebells and buttercups, faded jeans and wheat fields. . . From azure to aqua and mustard to maize, blue and yellow is just one of the happiest combinations around.  These two colors, one cool and one warm, do their best to show one another off.  A master at pulling everything together above, the Gypsy Stripe Denim/Yellow Woven Cotton Rug meshes golden yellow with indigo and cornflower as well as a hint of chocolate and ivory.

For this casual cottage look, add a pair of the compactly curvaceous Avon Upholstered Accent Chairs with this woven multi-color rug. We also love the idea of mixing in a cheery yellow Lake Murray Bench, suitable for your porch, kitchen, living room or anywhere you need extra seating. We’ve also selected a neutral Kerr Coffee Table with similar curves as the bench, both from our popular Lake House Furniture Collection. Lastly, the Five Skippers at Sea Canvas Giclee picks up tones from the rug and casts a serenity over the ensemble.

What is your favorite duo of colors?

To our valued customers,

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.

Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US, as are most finishes and fabrics. Selective hardware, fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.

We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.

Thank you,

Your Cottage Home Team
