We love this cottage style living room with its minimal use of color balanced with confidently placed bold touches. The crisp, clean feel comes from the expansive use of white for the wall and ceiling colors, the trim, the lighting fixture, the big, comfy, cloud-like couch and even the picture frames. What cozies it up are the old dark wood floorboards and the punchy pillows and flowers. The eye-catching circular drum lamp is echoed in the great low painted round coffee table to establish the room’s inviting symmetry.

Would you dare to do a room all in white?
