Color Board: Toasty Tones

Color Board: Toasty Tones #greys # natural #tans https://www.cottagehomefurniture.com

As winter approaches, welcomed hints of muted color at the break of day signal the beginning of precious daylight. All the soft tints of a winter’s dawn – toasted almond, silver and champagne – that streak across the sky and snowscape are brought together in the Lotus Rug (pictured above, at center). This lushly hand-tufted rug is made in India of 100% bamboo viscose. With neutrals ranging from frosty grey to sandy browns, the Lotus Rug subtly exudes a welcoming warmth.

Flanking the Lotus Rug are runners with cable knit detailing in 100% New Zealand wool – the Aran Isle Natural Runner and the Aran Isle Driftwood Runner. Also available in standard sizes, the Aran Isle runners add traditional style and toasty texture to any lodge or cottage living room, kitchen or hallway. Coordinating fabrics from our Shoreline Slipcovered Furniture collection include the Tucson Silver Fabric in 100% cotton, Range Steel Fabric in a cotton/linen blend and the herringbone pattern Jumper Pearl Fabric in a synthetic blend. Our Pebble Paint Color, a versatile new addition to our palette, is available in three of our collections: Beach House FurnitureCountry Farm Furniture  and Lake House Furniture.

To our valued customers,

Given the current market uncertainty, we felt it would be a good idea to provide you an update on our products. As you may know, we are a small, family-owned business that has been offering custom made furniture from our 15 US based workshops for over 20 years. Each of our custom furniture collections is made at a different workshop. We are a small business that supports other small businesses.

Fortunately for us, our workshops have minimal exposure to import tariffs. Our wood species (both new and reclaimed), iron beds, upholstery frames, seat cushions and floor cloths are all sourced in the US, as are most finishes and fabrics. Selective hardware, fabrics, and finishing products are imported but are a small percentage of our overall cost. Our wicker furniture frames are imported but cushions are all sourced in the US.

We do not anticipate any significant price changes due to import tariffs. We look forward to continuing to create unique furniture designed by you and custom built for you.

Thank you,

Your Cottage Home Team
